Borough Market, London Bridge

This week, being half-term, we took the kids to London on Tuesday.  Specifically, we went to Borough Market just off of London Bridge.

What a fantastic place it is too!

Such a diverse range of foods in a relatively small area.  I highly recommend it.  I managed to get some interesting photos too.

We walked along the Thames from London Bridge, all the way down to the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, back up to Charing Cross station.

The kids enjoyed themselves, the weather was fantastic for the end of October and a good time was had by all!

A very warm welcome to my personal blog : KLM Photography.  My aim is to post a variety of my best (and favourite) shots each week.

I'm an amateur photographer that resides in the lovely village of Horsmonden in Kent.  I've lived here for nearly ten years.  I'm lucky to have a beautiful wife and we have two lovely girls.

My photography journey started around five months ago, when I acquired my first DSLR, a Nikon D3200.  I have three lenses that give me a good range of focal lengths.

They are:
Nikon AF-S 18-105 3.5-5.6G VR Kit lens
Nikon AF-S 55-200 4-5.6G VR lens
Nikkor AF-S 50mm Prime 1.8G lens

I'm hoping to add a couple of lenses in the near future, hopefully the Sigma 150-500mm and the Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8.

I've always had a healthy interest in general photography but haven't been able to pursue it at a more serious level until recently.  I love taking photos of nature and wildlife - particularly of our two dogs.  Coco, a five year old Lab/Springer and Kiki, a seven month old Springer Spaniel.  The thrill of catching them in a playful pose really does set my photographic passion alight!

I'll start the blog off with some shots from this week:

I'm also a quick learner and currently learning how to post-process photos using Adobe Lightroom 5.  It's such a powerful and easy to use piece of software and I look forward to learning more as I progress in ability.

That's it for my intro, I'm looking forward to posting some (hopefully) great images!

Happy clicking,
